Vacancy Announcement

In the framework of the German Mongolian Financial Cooperation, the Government of Mongolia has received a loan from the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany through the KfW bank, toward the cost of the Energy Efficiency in the Central Transmission and Distribution Network Project. The National Power Transmission Grid (NPTG) State-Owned Stock Company of Mongolia, the project Executing Agency, is now recruiting qualified specialists for the Project Implementation Unit (PIU).

1. Project engineer (1)

Contract Period: 12-24 person-months

The Project engineer will report directly to the project manager of the PIU under NPTG. The Project engineer will be responsible for management of the overall engineering related project activities, planning, implementation and its reporting, but not limited, will work as required by the project. Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing in English.

Qualifications:

The Project engineer should have a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with more than 2 years of experience working in energy sector. English language proficiency should be an advanced.

2. Relay protection and automation engineer (1)

      Contract Period: 12-24 person-months

The Relay protection and automation engineer will report directly to the project coordinator of the PIU under NPTG, and will be responsible for all activities related secondary circuits’s work including relay protection, automation system, metering, SCADA and others. Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing in English.

Qualifications:

The Relay protection and automation engineer should have a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and automation with more than 2 years of experience working as electrical engineer or related position and experience working in international project. English language proficiency should be an advanced.

• CV with cover letter;
• Civil servant application; (only in Mongolian)
• Copies of relevant diplomas and certificates;
• Photocopy of citizenship ID;
• Evidences of Language proficiency
• Recommendation letter from previous employer.
